A unique way of holding a Scavenger Hunt is through the use of modern technology. Nowadays computers are commonplace. Everyone knows how to operate a computer, search the web, watch a Youtube video, and even create a Facebook account. That’s why using the internet is a fun and brilliant twist to the usual Scavenger Hunt.

Naturally, computers and an internet connection are needed for this hunt. Although, it doesn’t follow that you have to provide all this equipment. If you have a lot of participants and you only have a limited number of computers this could still be possible.

If computer units are limited, you may instruct the participants to make use of a computer at an Internet Café, a public library or anywhere as long as the computer doesn’t belong to them. Well, for this, you have got to make sure that they can’t use their own, to be fair.

On the other hand, you may also require your participants their own computers/laptops to use for the hunt. Either way you just have to make sure everyone has a working computer and a reliable internet connection.

Now, when you’ve got everything set up, you now provide them with a list of tasks to accomplish. This could be in the form of a printed document, or they could access it online, say, send it to their e-mail, in keeping with the theme.
